The film was originally made for an art festival; Fresh Winds in Iceland.
Recently nominated for an award and screened at the film festival INSHADOW in Lisbon, Portugal.
Towa means eternity in Japanese and is a multimedia piece exploring the contrasting concepts within a whole, the eternal cycle of life and death. A story of one soul splitting into two, cast onto two distinct islands; Iceland and Japan, reuniting somewhere on the way.
Tracing trails of past memories, past existences, through various bodies of language.
