Asra Rán Björt was born in Berlin, grew up in Reykjavík,
completed her studies in literature in Tokyo where
she later worked in a creative studio.
She is currently based in Barcelona.
She has participated in art residencies and exhibited her work
in Iceland, Portugal, France, Tokyo, New York and LA, among other places.
She mainly works with words and graphics.
Recieved an award from NASA for a project
she worked on with One Health Meraki.
